Looking for a huge outdoor space to run around in, this is it! At the Arboretum you’ll find gardens, forests, monuments as well as the National Bonsai and Penjing Museum that houses a wonderful collection of bonsai (Japanese art) and penjing (Chinese art) trees in 3 pavilions containing 150 plants. You can also find related art forms of viewing stones and ikebana, a Japanese style of flower arranging. Whether you are looking for an educational experience or just some fresh air, you can find both here. Bring a picnic, there’s lots of trees to park yourself under!

The Arboretum has an array of events including tours and workshops. Pets are allowed but must be leashed at all times and are not allowed inside the buildings.

Visitor maps and restrooms are in the Arbor house
